BIG Reminder for Participants

Here are the rules and regulations of Euphonious 2011, please make sure you adhere to the rules. Any1 breaking any of the rules may disqualify yourselves ok? We hope we make it clear for you.
 
Rule No 1 
Sound effects assistance from computer is NOT allowed.
( Everything in LIVE)

Rule No 2
Only TEN (10) MINUTES is given to perform the  
TWO (2) songs. If time is exceeded for sound check (5 mins)
and performance (10mins) , 5% of the total marks will be deducted. If
it enters the 6thminute, 10% will then be deducted. Thus, for every additional 
minute, 5% will be deducted and it will be in a cumulative amount. This applies to both sound
check and performance time. 

Rule No 3
All bands must REGISTER at the beginning of their PRELIMINARY session, 
strictly within FIFTEEN (15) MINUTES of the registration time. Musical groups are 
also given FIVE (5) MINUTES ONLY to come up on stage after the name of their group 
is announced by the MC. Failure to do so will result in an automatic DISQUALIFICATION.
 
Rule No 4
The performance that will be performed must be 
POLITE and appropriate, and suitable with the Malaysian culture. 
 
Rule No 5
The performance COSTUMES must be appropriate and not vulgar. For 
costumes, if someone’s dressing is not appropriate, he/she will not be allowed to go on stage.

Rule No 6
A participant can be in maximum 2 bands only. 
 
Rule No 7
If a person’s name exist in a 3rd band and so forth, 
we will DISQUALIFY the 3rd band from the whole competition.
 
Rule No 8 
If ever any of the bands CHANGE their SONG of choice for the performance 
without informing the committees, the EUPHO committee board has the rights to 
disqualify the band from the competition.  However, changing you song choice before 
the performance is allowed if prior notice has be given to the EUPHO committee board. Thus,
please send in your new lyrics if you want to change your song of choice.
 
Rule No 9 
No explicit or VIOLENT 
actions /movement for the background performances for every band.
 
Rule No 10 
If any DAMAGE is done to any of the 
equipments or instruments before, during and after the competition, 
the person who caused the damage will have to PAY for the full amount the loss.
 
Rule No 11
Every participating band should STRICTLY follow the 
rules and regulations. Failure to do so will result in deduction of marks or disqualification.
 
Rule No 12 
With respect to the professional team of judges, all judge’s decision 
will be FINAL and no further correspondence will be entertained. We will not be held
responsible to any loss and/or damage of personal assets or belongings throughout this event.
 
Rule No 13
Rules and regulations are subjected to change by organizing committees without prior notice. 
 
  
**The decision for the top 6 finalists that will advance into the final will be told on the last day of preliminaries which will be on SUNDAY ,12th JUNE 2011.
