The Eagles are an American rock band formed back in 1971 in Los Angeles, California. The members consist of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. Numerous of achievements were achieved by The Eagles, five number one singles, six Grammies, five American Music Award and six number one albums. They were one of the most successful music band back in 1970s.

Towards the end of the 20th century, Their Greatest Hits and Hotel California albums were in the rank of 20 best-selling albums in U.S. Moreover, Hotel California has the achievement of becoming 37th in Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Besides the achievement by their albums, the band itself was ranked 75th place in the magazine's 2004 list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Their ranking and achievements can be proven by their number of albums sold in their career lives. They have sold more then 120 million albums world!
