Whenever people mention about ABBA, we will definitely think of one of their greatest hit songs, Dancing Queen. Euphonious 2011 has chosen the theme of oldies for the compulsory songs and ABBA's Dancing Queen is one of those.


As most of the people will have the impression of ABBA was a British or America band, but they were actually a Swedish band formed in Stockholm, 1972. The band members consist of  Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad, Bjorn Ulvaenus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Faltskog. 


In the short duration of 10 years, ABBA had achieved their peak in their music career. They were categorized as one of the commercially most successful artists in music world. With the achievement of selling over 375 millions records globally, they deserved the title of the fourth best selling recorded music artist. 


Although  they are from non-English-speaking nation, the language barriers and nationality did not stop them from building their popularity in nations like UK and USA. Moreover, their musics did not stop in western countries, they spread to countries like Argentine, Brazil and Mexico enjoyed ABBA's songs in Spanish version.
